9, 10 Begin Again

So I had some troubles last week and got sick again BUT tonight was the official start of my 100 day workout challenge! That means (including today) I will be working out in some way for 100 days straight-no break days.  Each day I miss, adds two at the end. So I have to do something active every day, even if its a quick walk or crunches, just SOMETHING.

Today, I went for a swim and then walked/jogged in the water. I've been in and out of the gym all week but I'm glad to be back in for a serious commitment. Hopefully I'll stay on program.

Back to the Grind

Got back to the gym yesterday for the first time in about three weeks.  It's strange: after working out, just about every day for a few months, being absent for three weeks felt like eternity.  I walked in and felt as if I was coming back from a years worth of time.  There were more people I didn't recognize than normal. It was weird for sure, but it was like coming home again.

I love the atmosphere, the motivation I get from being there, the friends I've made from there. You can't quite once I'm there, why else would I go all the way out there. Started Zumba back up yesterday. Found out the Zumba instructor that's leaving is NOT the one I love, at least for now.  So that was good news. Let's hope I can continue, my leg was fine through that work out but I had trouble with a mat work out I tried.

I'm hoping that started my 100 days.  Today I'm very sore so we'll see if I can handle it.  If not, tomorrow is a new day.

Work It!

Since I've been sick for a while, I haven't been as active as I'd like to be.  I've now officially decided what to dedicate the rest of my blog to.  When I'm finally able to become active again, i'm going to go on a 100 day workout commitment--working out for 100 days straight.  I'm on another social web site called Sparkpeople which is an online fitness community and it's really motivated me to live a much healthier and happier life style.  I'll be using this space as an outlet to keep track of my daily workouts and try and do 100 days straight, even if its just a quick walk or run. Hopefully I'll stick to my guns here, looking forward to being able to start this! I'm going to try and start Monday (aka tomorrow) but we'll see how I'm feeling.  I'd love people to join the effort with me, others with the same goal motivates me more than anything. Can't wait to get started. LEGGO!
